One by one, the Socs testify to the fact that Johnny killed Bob.... not Ponyboy. This confuses Ponyboy because hes still believes himself responsible. Darry and Soda also testify, telling the truth regardless that it might harm their credibility. The courts go easy on Ponyboy, and the Judge subsequently acquits Ponyboy.
