what ways are other characters are eithe affirming or disavowing gregors humanity

Everybody pretty much forgets about Gregor. Only Grete seems to really acknowledge him as a brother. In time, even Grete moves on and Gregor finds himself alone. Geregor loses his humanity in his loneliness and despair.
