Why is genetic research on human subjects especially sensitive?

should studies conducted using tissues collected from no-longer living humans be subject to the same kind of restrictions as those involving human subjects?

The reality of this question is that it is an ethical/moral question for which there is no clear answer.  There are those people who object to any kind of research on human subjects, living or dead.  It is, for example, why people must sign and give permission for their organs to be donated to someone who might need those organs.  Those who are used as cadavers must sign before their bodies can be donated to universities or other research bodies for any kind of research.

This question has far too many dimensions to be a very simple answer.
