What has Khalil taught Starr?

Kahlil taught Starr that things are not always as they appear, that there isn't always justice, and that regardless of the outcome she needed to be true to herself and her identity. He taught her that she needed to use her voice, and that she needed to keep fighting in order to for things to change.
