The Great Gatsby

The Great Gatsby

In the first three pages of Chapter One, Nick attempts right away to establish a
relationship with the reader. This continues throughout multiple places in the book
in important key passages. How effective is he in establishing this
relationship throughout the book? What techniques does he use? What is the
effective/ineffectiveness built by techniques illustrates one of Fitzgerald’s main
points?
