For Daisy to divorce Tom and marry Gatsby would mean giving up her social standing...... being ostracized. She'd not only be a divorcee...... she'd be marrying someone with new money..... someone who would not be accepted. Another reason she would never leave Tom..... she'd likely lose her daughter.
