how does nick provide a contrast, a foil character, to Jordan in the great gatsby?

Nick is actually well adjusted and rather alien to the excesses of East Egg society where as Jordan is superficial and very much a part of East Egg Society. Where Nick had fought in WW1, Jordan is cheating at golf tournaments.
