When the narrator talks about "release of the elderly,"what do think is meant by the phrase? How do you feel about "releasing" old people? Why would a society choose to do away with elderly people before they die naturally?

Releasing the elderly alludes to ending their lives..... euthanasia. The last part of your question calls for your opinion.
