why is proctor unable to say all of the commandments? and why does abigail accuse elizabeth of witchcraft?

Proctor is unable to recall the commandment against adultery which he is guilty of. Abigail hates Elizabeth because she is jealous that Proctor chose his wife rather than her. She is also angry that Elizabeth fired her.
