What do you think will happen to the relationship between Abigail and Proctor? How might their relationship influence the plot of The Crucible?

Abigail and Proctor's relationship is over before we meet them in the first scene. We can, however, see that Abigail still has her heart set on John and is willing to do whatever it takes to get him back. This influences the plot in regard to Elizabeth, Proctor's wife, being accused of witchcraft.
