The Crucible

Aslan thank you for your help but i have more questions about my thesis.

I was thinking of doing Abigail Putnam and Danforth. I am having trouble thinking of something that they all do in the book, like how they all fit together and what they do. my first idea for a thesis was. "in Salem, the witch trials started because Abigail and Putnam wanted personal gain and Danforth wanted to be correct about the witch trials and he had no concern for justice". I could just tell it wasn't good.

We typically don't help with the writing process on this short answer space but I can give you a little direction. You might consider moving from the general to the specific:

The carnage of the Salem witch trials were the result of several characters taking advantage of the Puritan paranoia that was rising in the village. Abigail, Thomas Putnam, and Judge Danforth all had a vested interest in the trials going ahead. Each of them profited in some way from the accusations and subsequent executions.

Then I would deal with each character separately.
