How does Belecia react when students and staff throw direct barbs at her in Part 1, Chapter Three?

Belicia simply moves on. She knows the other students and staff shun her, and she is defensive and rude when they do interact with her. In other words.... she blows them off and continues to do exactly what she wants to do.
