As a young child, William was incredibly afraid of angering those with magic, and tried to control his own magic as a way of fighting back. As he grows up,William turns to education and scientific advancements as truth as well as power.

William K felt skeptical about magic and believed that science and learning, not magic, were the real ways to solve problems and change life.

It's remarkable how he strikes a balance between wonder and skepticism, just like we do with new experiences in life, including hobbies. Just as William discovers that harnessing natural forces necessitates comprehension rather than blind faith in magic, perfecting our skills on the field demands practice and planning.
