Satire

A satire is a humorous or witty story detailing human weaknesses. In Sultana's Dream, the author creates a feminist utopia, in which, women socially and politically dominate men. Rokeya utilizes mockery and sarcasm as she criticizes social prejudices, religious bigotry, oppression of women in male-dominated societies.
