1. Why does the PTA want to change the mascot to something else? What do you think all the mascot changes might symbolize?

Merryweather’s mascot, due to complaints of lewdness, has just changed from the Trojans to the Devils. This represents situational irony. The change is ironic because the PTA would pick a name symbolizing evil over a name that may or may not be linked to sex.
