It sounds like this man's life is not going well. He is sad and depressed, When in disgrace with fortune and men’s eyes all alone beweep my outcast state. He finally realizes that he has one who loves him and his spirit is filled with hope, For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings That then I scorn to change my state with kings.
