Sense and Sensibility

What is Marianne plagued with in volume three, aside from her recovery of willoughby?

All the local friends, even town, know of her poor health, and event ponder her recovering at all. At first, I thought Willoughby had done it again..

I'm not sure what exactly you are referring to. Marianne does get better. Is this to do with Willoughby? Willoughby says that when he first met Marianne and realized that she had feelings for him, his vanity was touched.
