In the film, the Nazi commandant Goeth describes Jewish people as “vermin” and “rats”. What purpose did this language serve?

Goethe, and other members of the Nazi Party, refer to the Jews in this way in order to portray them as animals.... vermin. This language served to dehumanize a population.
