Why does juliet tell romeo not to "swear bye the moon "?

Juliet doesn't want Romeo to swear by the moon because it always changes.... it isn't reliable.

"O, swear not by the moon, th' inconstant moon,

That monthly changes in her circle orb,

Lest that thy love prove likewise variable."
