Romeo and Juliet

What does Juliet realize in line 172? How does this compound the tragedy of the scene?

Go, get thee hence, for I will not away.— What’s here? A cup, closed in my true love’s hand? Poison, I see, hath been his timeless end.— O churl, drunk all, and left no friendly drop To help me after? I will kiss thy lips.

Juliet realizes that Romeo has ingested poison. Now that her love is dead, she feels she has nothing left to live for. This compounds her angst and convinces her that suicide is her only way to see Romeo again.
