Example of Irony:

Prometheus stole fire from the gods and gave it to humanity, and ironically, the humans now use that gift to destroy him.

Example of Paradox:

Prometheus is bound and tied, he is captive, but his mind remains free. Oceanus and Hermes, however, while physically free are bound by the will of Zeus.
