Mr Collins really never deceives us, outside of the fact that we're surprised about his ties and eventual marriage to Charlotte.

Wickham appears to be the gentleman and convinces the women, including Elizabeth, that he is genuine. In reality, Wickham is deceitful, untrustworthy, and disingenuous. He is a liar and a fraud.

Darcy initially appears to be self-absorbed, prideful, and almost overly class-conscious. In reality, he is a true gentleman and extremely open-minded.

Can you please explain more about Mr. Collins.
