What is meant by Mr. Great Heart when he says, 'they that want the beginning have neither middle not end.'

After hearing of Mr. Fearful from Great Heart, everybody presents their own thoughts and Mr. Great Heart replies to what was said by James, that Well said, James, thou hast hit the mark; for the fear of GOD I'd beginning of wisdom; and to be sure, they that want the beginning have neither middle nor end.

I just want to ask what is meant by the phrase that those who want the beginning have neither middle nor end.

In context, this refers to the act of setting and accomplishing goals, meaning it is important to start things in the right way, using wisdom and taking care to see things through the correct way from beginning to end. Thus, it is important to set yourself on the right path, and stay the path until you've followed through and accomplished what you set out to do.
