How are Helen and Alfons' accounts different?

Alfons was a young boy when Hitler began his rise to power, and he became a member of the Hitler Youth. He idolized Hitler and the Party ideology. Over time, he dedicated himself to rising in the ranks, a born leader. He believed the propaganda he was taught and was a staunch supporter of the Reich. He was also completely detached from the atrocities committed.
