I have the following,

LODOVICO My lord, this would not be believed in Venice, 260

Though I should swear I saw't: 'tis very much:

Make her amends; she weeps.

Othello has just called Desdemona a liar and has hit her. Lodovico means the Othello's actions would not be tolerated in Venice. There is and underlying meaning that a Moor would never be able to trike a white woman of nobility.
