Incensed by the thought that Cassio is speaking about his wife, Othello resolves to kill Desdemona himself. He then accompanies Desdemona to greet Lodovico, but sadly, when she mentions Cassio..... Othello becomes exceedingly angry and slaps her in front of everyone. Desdemona then rushes away confused and embarrassed, leaving everyone to wonder how he could be so cruel.
