Explain the symbolism in George's final telling of the farm story
In my opinion, George tells Lennie the story of the farm in order to distract him, and also to allow him to die happy. The story was Lennie's favorite thing in the world..... it was his dream. I believe that in his own way, George believed that in death, Lennie would attain everything he wanted.
