George and Lennie have a close relationship; it's almost like a father/son relationship. George being dad and Lennie the errant son. I don't think their relationship changes much in the story, outside of the fact that in the end George makes the decision to let Lennie go and decides that to do it himself is more humane and a greater expression of love. He is consistantly frustrated by Lennie getting into trouble, but he does love him. George is a commendable man............. actually one of the best.

George and Lennie hasn't a blood relationship though they behave like two brother's who wants to sacrifice them self for each other. this relationship is love in friendship. George was advising Lennie not to put them into trouble. George was saying this for Lennie's care. George was always telling him about a dreaming because george knew that this dream is just day dreaming, but the reason was to make happy his blood friend Lennie. But the situation wasn't going well, for their dream to become real.
