The title, Number the Stars, comes from the Bible.
O praise the Lord.
How good it is to sing psalms to our God!

This name come from the fact that Hitler was trying to get rid of the Jews and the main charecter protected her friend, who was Jewish, and the Star of David, Hence the name Number the Stars.
