I would have to go with Dr. Josef Mengele. This guy was actually real. Elizer encounters him when he arrives at Auschwitz/Birkenau. Mengele was known as the "Angel of Death". He was responsible for performing unspeakable experiments on holocaust victims and sending countless people to the gas chambers.
