There are two elements to this. There is the relationship between the Jews themselves and then there is the relationship between the Germans and the Jews. Among the Jews there are times of great empathy and caring as well as conflict and antagonism. The Jews seem to keep their faith as a bonding force between them. As the war drags on many have their faith shaken and we see the internal bond suffer as well. The Jews also lose faith in their fellow man; why did no other country stop this genocide before it started? The German relationship to the Jews is inhuman. It is blind, vengeful and ignorant. There is no reciprocity; it is simply evil incarnate.
