how does eliezer view moshe at the beginning of the novel?

Eliezer views Moché as a teacher and a great man. He personally chooses Moché to help him study the cabbala. Unfortunately, Moche is deported to a Nazi concentration camp, and after he escapes is ignored by the Jews in Sighet, who believe him to be mad.
