Thami's character might be considered weak because he doesn't follow through on his true feelings. His involvement with the underground isn't exactly surprising.... his negligence in following through of the "right" thing, however, is questionable. Although we can sympathize with his frustration, it is difficult to understand his actions (or inaction).
