How does portia conclude that bassanio would be like antonio ?

Portia concludes that if Bassanio and Antonio are such close friends and have spent an enormous amount of time together, they must be very alike. Thus, the money she sends to procure Antonio's release is money well spent.... because Antonio is so like the man she loves.

I never did repent for doing good,
Nor shall not now; for in companions
That do converse and waste the time together
Whose souls do bear an equal yoke of love,
There must be needs a like proportion
Of lineaments, of manners, and of spirit,
Which makes me think that this Antonio,
Being the bosom lover of my lord,
Must needs be like my lord.

Portia tells that she alongwith Nerissa would stay in a Monastery 2 miles off while Gratiano and Bassanio are away. She asked Lorenzo to take care of the house in the absence of Bassanio and herself.
