simon and discrimination

i do not presently have my book with me and am in need of some quotes from the novel, that include discrimination towards simon from any of the characters. thanks

I think that Simon is considered to be strange or "batty" by most of the boys. The irony is that the boys find little fulfillment in bullying Simon. Simon simply gives them nothing to feed off. He is Golding's Christ-figure : he exists on a level the boys cannot understand or articulate.
