The two groups are Ralph's group, which is largely comprised of Simon, Piggy, and the Littl'uns, and Jack's group which is made up of the hunters. Ralph's group is focused on organization, shelter, and survival, whereas, Jack's group is focused upon hunting and other types of savage behavior.
