Chapter 12, please help!

By chapter 12, the boys have collectively loss any hope of redemption. Simon's, Golding's Christ-figure, has been murdered and Ralph is left alone: the last symbol of responsibility and "good". Ralph is now going to be hunted. Reason no longer has a place on this island- the boys are beyond redemption.
