Do you think Piggy is an Important character?

Piggy is certainly an important character. Each of the main characters represents something about our world. Piggy represents logic, knowledge, and reason. Piggy is perhaps their best practical chance of getting off the island. Unfortunately he is ostracized most of the book. Piggy is viewed s fat and weak. He becomes the sad case of comic relief for the boys.
