Stacey and Jeremy try to make Cassie understand that she cannot drink out of the "white" drinking fountain.... that the people around the courthouse will get angry if they see her. Her brothers and Jeremy are all worried about repurcussions. To Cassie... it's merely a drinking fountain and she is thirsty.
