In your opinion, is it fair that some people in the story have more handicaps than others? Why or why not?

This question calls for your opinion. There is no right or wrong answer. In context, the purpose of the handicaps is equality..... to make all people equal. Thus, those who are gifted in one area, or even multiple areas, must be handicapped, so they are no better.... no more gifted, beautiful, handsome, or intelligent than anyone else. This does not, of course, apply to those in charge. Handicaps keep their oppressors in power. Agents of the United States Handicapper General make sure that no one is a threat to their leadership, enabling the Handicapper General to retain complete control.
