Do you think that Krakauer wanted (or felt that he needed) to trust his peer climbers? Why?

I think Krakauer wanted to trust his peers. The elite climbing community was not that large. Companies that took treks to Everest were even a smaller collection. Krakauer knew many of these people and wanted to see the best in them. Unfortunately this did not happen on that fateful climb.
