Is Krakauer an objective author? Defend your answer

I believe that for the most part, Krakauer stayed both objective and professional in the telling of McCandless' story. None-the-less, the two shared commonalities that cannot be ignored, thus, I also believe that Krakauer tends to be more sympathetic and understanding of Chris' actions. I do not, however, believe that the things they shared colored Krakauer's telling of the story. Note, this is my opinion.
