When the Moose are asked to play white teams, why does Saul not want to do this?

Saul doesn't want to re-enter the white world of Hockey. Saul finds this world harsh and spirit crushing. He has already experienced the racism and negativity in this world, Saul doesn't want his team polluted by it.
