What disagreement does Saul’s grandmother have with Saul’s mother?

They fight over whether Benjamin should be buried by a Catholic priest or through tradition at God's lake. Saul's mother was still heavily influenced by the Catholic church that she was exposed to in Residential School. Saul's grandmother rejects everything about the white man, especially his God and church.
