Hockey is really an extended family affair. The reservation villages take care of each other. A large crowd always shows up for the games and everybody pitches in to make a tournament happen. There is a romantic element to these games. Lights are strung above the frozen ponds and the change cabins are rustic, warm, and intimate. The games are truly a shared experience of friendly competition and love.
