I Am Malala

Malala once told a cameraman, "They cannot stop me. I will get my education' " (83) How is that perspective the same or different than how we, in America, view education?

If possible provide evidence or page numbers?

It is difficult to generalize, but I suspect that some children in North America might not appreciate education as much as Malala does. For Malala, education was an honor and not a right. Few children, especially girls, actually got to attend school in Pakistan. Some children in North America feel that education is forced upon them.
