What is a "loophole". Narrate the loophole which Louisa took advantage of.

Please help me out with an answer, which could be equivalent to 10 marks

A loophole is a technicality. Louisa took advantage of the fact that her father chastised her brother for taking her somewhere she shouldn't have been because he knew better..... she turned the argument around when she told him that it was she who brought Tom.... not the other way around.
