Gulliver's Travels

In the novel, Gulliver's Travels, Swift critically examines government's role in education. He also addresses the corruption and greed of political leaders. Swift predominantly satirizes British superiority and the idea that people perceive their own culture as superior to the point at which their culture should be adopted over native customs, etc. Although Gulliver believed that the British culture was superior, he also came to question it when he pointedly asked questions in other lands.
