Why does Pip like Startop more than Drummle? What is the contrast between the two men?

Dummle and Startop are two of Mr. Pocket’s students. Pip liked Startop better. Startop was younger and more cheerful/ friendly where as Drummle sulked a lot and was prone to outbursts.
