Did you notice any change in the relationship between Miss Havisham and Estella? What was it?

Estella is actually the one who changes. Miss Havisham wants their relationship to stay the same, it never occurred to her that when she programmed Estella to be immune to the feeling and emotions of love it would include her. She wanted Estella to visit, to have conversation..... but Estella was no more capable of feelings for the woman who raised her than anyone else.
